hydroscopic materials are stuffs which in nature attracts water molecules greatly.

Vice versa would be hydrophobic (repels water)

err...i believe the term for water 'loving' compounds is hydrophilic, not hydroscopic. a hydroscope is an instrument you use to look under water. that's what the dictionary says..

hydroscope is indeed a device.

I don't usually put them in microwave. I put them out in the sun so that can be reused.
