hm...
it looks internal zoom, all lens are internal and zooming doesn't have protruding lens
perhaps that explains the costs
SEL18200 does protrude....

Got my NEX5 kit with the SEL18200 in HK just last week. Street price is equivalent to S$1500. ; )

amazing pricing, because hk sony website and some of the more famous shop in hk oso stated they do not have it when i check on line last week.

Warranty in an International Warranty valid in SIngapore. Need to then pop by Sony next door to get the warranty. V Easy...

ok already tired on the 18-200 lens today, it was heavy and the "turning" sensation was tight, it was abit werid with such huge lens on small body, but overall feel was good.
how i got to test it?
saw the new view cam wwhich comes with the emount and i requested if can test it on the nex body and played with it for a while. the shop owner was kind to inform me the pieces of 18-200 will come in end of the mth and is very very limited pieces
2nd batch in nov...
will i buy?
very gian but after seeing what is posted in from the exhibition, i think 1000+ i may spend it on the adapter first and den better lens?, espicallywith Oct update if it is true hahahaha
