Sekinchan is a fishing and rice producing village near Kuala Selangor, about 1.5 hours from Kuala Lumpur. Sekinchans Chinese name, 适耕庄, literally means A Land Suitable for Farming.
I was fortunate to witness sunrise over the rice paddy fields and sample their delicious seafood in April 2011 (Sorry no photo of the food - too hungry).
