Hi friends u all should be glad that u had join Sony wagon in the first place . Just back from hkg, the bodies can be convert to intl warranty. So just buy with confidence.likewise sony is selling very competitively at hkg as good as the bargain offered for the canikon or even better

the conversion is done in HK or singapore? I am thinking of asking my brother to ship back some sony stuff from US so for the warranty can I do the conversion locally? Don't want to trouble my brother too much.

i get my conversion done at hkg, likewise it can also be done locally as well provide u got the original receipt.
However,so far nobody i knw of had their warranty converted from US.
