How much did you get the a300 in MS colour? with kit lens. I am going hk next month and wanted to buy it there. Are u sure that we cannot convert to international warranty? i read in some thread in this forum that we could. I also wanted to buy the 50mm F1.4 lens there... selling 699 sgd in singapore and if u buy in hk.. it is around 489sgd.. BIG DIFFERENCE

Lens can convert... Bodies cannot... If i remember correctly..

correct! lens can convert body stays local to country of purchase... conversion's to be done so at sonystyle...

just buy with confidence, for those who doesn't converse well in cantonese u can try converse in mandrain or english, dun worry u are less likely to be conned by them than by cathay photo and alan photo,
just ask around the shops around at mongkok and compare the prices and choose the best and
i sorry to said that there no intl warranty for bodies of other brands, beside the sony and olympus, other than the lenses,the batt and 18250 is selling like hotcake in hkg. the stock is low and unavailable at all places in hkg:bigeyes:

u are very lucky then, for best deal, u best to convert the currency locally then to have it do so over at other side.

price increase? :sweatsm: looks like only going down to their main shop den can get a good price.. my fren got it for 1140(or 1120 cant rmb) incl. GST after some strong negotiation 1+week ago + some misc freebies

wow... stock is running low in HK. I hope i can get it in Hk in june. already asked my fren to keep a look out. the difference between 300 and 350 is only 50 bucks sgd... so i dunno which one to get...

why not? if you don't like the "fatness" of the liveview screen or the smallness of the OVF =)
the A200 can use the hardcover LCD screen protector, i wish my A100 had that!

the price of A300K is abt S$900 in HK. If the whole kit warranty can be converted to s'pore warranty, definitely a good buy.
