A very frank, informative and open sharing session. Thank you for taking the trouble to spend time sharing with us. The polish and hard work that goes into your image creation is staggering ....needless to say so is the out put which is different. A true professional is not worried about others knowing about the tricks of his trade - as the true power of his work is literally his vision, his mastered skills and ability to forge the vision into reality.

Thanks for the workshop, Cedric. A very interesting session. A Pro in action.
I learned a lot from the workshop although so stuff still too difficult for me to understand.

thanks to PBS for your inspiring talk. i'm also a people photog, so this session is really an interesting one! insightful insider commentary from a pro photog, which most of us are not really privy to, as pro photogs usually dun take time out to talk about their work. kudos to PBS!

too bad i had to leave (i was the 1st to go off) as i had to rush off. din have time to mix around with other clubsnappers...

maybe next time ;)

Hi all,

Thank you for your presence that wee morning of saturday. Perhaps at times I've gotten a bit technical, but then again, there were a part of those present who understands what I was talking about. To those who didn't quite understand, I probably did share about the numerous ways to get things done in your upcoming shoot with a lil bit more effort.

For those who needed to know more, just PM me anytime..

Cheers,

PBS

Thanks Cedric for your sharing session .... Whenever I see the bus ad ...."SPEEDING OVERTURNS LIVES - 71735" now, it serves as a little reminder to ALL of us. 'OVERTURN' our current vision in photography ...break through the norms and be creative. Well, that's what it should be about .... creating images we called our own through the power of light :) They will not be just another image/ picture but images with a distinct flavour ... our flavour.. Just like yours, images created or taken with a distinct "PBS" style.

As an organiser in CS and with the pointers you shared during the first session, we need to raise the bar in our shoots so that CSers can get 'that frame' ;p

If we ever need take a picture of a judge in future, we will NEVER hesitate to call him " SMILE, OLD MAN !!!! " :bsmilie:

In case u dunno who I am, you said I looked like the "loyang fella"

Cheers !

Having to get that frame isn't that difficult. It's how much we want to achieve it, cos so very often we may have logistic issues to worry about. However, ot how much we want our images to turn out.

Having shared numerous methods to solve these issues, I do hope we see some good frames, and I'll be learning from the many in this forum...

Thank you for all your time though...

Thanks PBS for sharing. Makes me realised how much I've lost touch with shooting fashion. The session after most have left was even better than the talk itself.

well said. i'm sure everyone's capable of doing more, the only line that separates a person from another is how much that person wants. passion is a powerful driver.

yup!! i really look up to you(PBS) as one photographer who can have frames of the mood you want to set in the photo.. it was a unforgettable experience.
