searching the buy and sell section

Hi guys
see if anybody can help.
i am trying to search the Nikon buy and sell section but search returns always no match. So i tried to search for a known post (there is a post selling a DK-17M), i tried a keyword search for "DK-17M" and again no match, but it is here http://www.clubsnap.com/forums/showthread.php?t=494245
how come the search engine does not find it?

anybody can help?

i did a quick search and i got 3 results

keyword "DK17M" without the hyphen

I realize the search engine here has some limitations too. Like it can't search for words 3 letters long and below. And it can't search for numbers too.

yes, try to search for a 500mm lens using just 500... does not work and why does the hyphen not work?

i hope that it's possible to do certain keyword searches that are 3 letters or less in the buy&sell.. like the FM forums for example.

i mean, to be realistic, most cameras are 3 characters.. 10D 20D, D50, D60.. etc. some are 2.. 1D, 5D, D3... blah blah.

it's quite tough to be searching through the threads because there's no way to search for 3 letters or less.

may want to consider this just for the B&S.

If can separate by WTSell and WTBuy, even better

That's easy, you can use google or yahoo search engine to search "something you want + clubsnap". This method does not have any limitation and it works well for me at least.
