search keyword > 3 alph-numeric too restrictive

wanted to do a search on D60 but could not as the minimum word length is 4. but many camera models only got 2-3 characters leh

i had this problem too. Probably it's to justify saving bandwidth. but since most of the cameras here are commonly referenced by 3 digits, etc D30 EOS 602 F80 707 D7i .. it makes searching for subjects extremely difficult. Adding additional characters to the 3 digits will filter out revelant posts which sadly only contain te 3 digits and will not come out in a search.

Your search function is not fully utilized.
