I have an Archos Gmini 400 and am planning to purchase a Panasonic digital camera which uses the SD Card. Does anyone know where I can purchase an SD to CF Card Convertor?

currently u have CF card, right??? CF card is larger than SD, it is impossible to convert CF to SD.!!!!

buying another card is cheaper. Can get at least 1G normal speed card

this is for those who have SD card and wish to convert to CF cards.

I think that's what the TS wants to do.
His camera uses SD but the Archos has a CF slot, so he needs a SD card --> CF slot adapter so he can plug the SD into the Archos.

The SD to CF card converter that u have mentioned is said to be able transfer up to 16.6mb/s??

may I know whether it is true?? will it stay roughly there?? or will it be at least 10mb/s?

I've actually emailed Memory World because that's where I bought the Archos Gmini 400 but they informed me that they don't carry them anymore despite displaying one at their website.

I guess it's Sim Lim Square if I want to get the adapter.

I think you should take manufacturers' claims of max speed with a pinch of salt, make that a large teaspoonful
Anyway, there are 3 things in the pipe to consider -- the SD card itself, the adapter and the host (with the CF slot). The max possible speed will be the slowest of these 3.
