Called them.

They don't have in stock.
They don't intend to bring in.
They are not interested to do a indent, even if there is 10 pcs.

So buy elsewhere.

Adorama US$24.95

Just out of curiosity, why are you considering this? Only reason I could think of getting this is for using the EyeFi card in my DSLR. And the EyeFi sales rep I spoke to admitted the range suffers a lot using this solution.

For me, I have an existing HD card reader that accept only CF card.( Nixvue )
I have a XD to CF adapter for my old Fuji finepix use.
Now I have the S100FS that uses SD / SDHC

why not just get a new card reader? IT show just round the corner. with SDHC cards getting cheaper everyone will need to get a card reader that can read SDHC unless you get it bundled with the SDHC card.

I think hosm means a hard disk card reader - a photo storage device that reads from card into hard disk. Not that cheap, and if I have one that is reliable I'd like to stick with it.

wanting to use sd cards on a new cam that uses CF?
yes I saw some Panasonic brands SD-to-CF converter in Japan. it still costs about S$55 after conversion.
you might as well buy a new CF.

the point is his storage device has only CF slot so if he wants to back up SD cards on his device, he will have to use a converter or change storage device which has CF and SD slots.

i am using a PMP (portable media player) which doubles up as a portable storage device using OTG backup. unfortunately it's one way so it can copy from card-to-device but not the other way round. it doesn't have any card slot so i have to plug in a card reader which is okay with me. :bsmilie:
