Screw mount Summicron 35 mm f/2.0 ASPH

Hi all,

Could someone be kind enough to advise the compatibility, or otherwise, of the above 35 Cron (Japanese market edition) with the M9? The lens has an adapter but without the 6 Bit Code.

I understand it's possible to convert the lens to 6 Bit? Can that be done in Spore?

u can hand code it with a marker pen on the adapter. or buy a coding kit.

Thought M9 got the option to select the lens from the menu so can skip the coding altogether.

The screw mount cron35Asph need a Ltm to M adapter. You don't code the lens but the adapter. Should be able to find adapter with recesses milled for coding. Used to pay $180 for such an adapter but I think it's much cheaper now.
