Hi guys,

Don't quite understand why but my R3A doesn't have a self timer (as compared to my old Bessa R).

I was wondering if there's anywhere/anyone that still sells those old screw in self timers? Screw in onto the shutter release, then it pushes it down when the time is up.

Thanks!
Erv.

Mine was the "Kaiser" mechanical self-timer I bought many years ago for my M6s. Still available online in the UK if you search. It looks like this:

try this website:http://www.speedgraphic.co.uk/cat.asp?c=136&1=Other+Accessories

WOW 20 pounds!! That's more than 60 bucks!... I'll try to hunt for chinese alternatives if possible...

Mine is made in Japan, maybe you can find some in Japan. It gives a mechanical winding sound, no battery needed. Very nostalgic:-)

good idea:)
