screen's spec

13.3-inch Superfine WXGA TFT18 with active digitizer
(1280 x 800 pixels, 300 nits Brightness, 500:1 Contrast Ratio)

Halo, i copy the above from 1 of fujitsu laptop spec,
anybody know about it?

1. is "300 nits Brightness" , "500:1 Contrast Ratio" giving the true picture colour ?
if not how much value suitable?

2. how to justify whether the screen is glossy or matte...??
