Bro, I like the first rendition, but the second is way too unnatural. The source of light here has got to be the blocks, based on the levels of brightness in the picture.

Yeah, it could be that I was using a 1.2 soft grad for the sky, since the sky became very bright after the sun rose. Perhaps I should have dialled down the exposure for the foreground buildings.

wah spoil market. no wonder my shot looks like crap in comparison! haha nice work!

Haha, aiyah no lah. It was a simple blend, actually. Just stack them in layers and hit lighten as blend mode!

Pardon the dust bunny in the shot, I can't re-edit this as my workstation is under servicing. :(

Thank you! It was a composite of 85 shots at around 30s each. Blue hour sky was blended in for some colour in the sky too.

Eighty-five!! Wow

Yeah, haha! It was one of my most craziest blending/stacking job though! After I upgrade my system, I'll probably redo it, still think it could be improved further.

Bukit Panjang Estates.
Should have extended my camera outwards to get the LRT tracks in the frame as foreground. Will be back again to attempt this view!

Looking at Stefan's thread, I think I'll 'borrow' an idea of his and start posting behind-the-scenes shots of my set-up. Hopefully it'll give everyone an idea how the shots are framed and made!
