Epic evening out with Yoong Ren Hui, Chia Guo Xiang and Lin Yihan. It may not look like it, but it was a tough pano to blend - the buildings came out very curvy due to the pano projection and I had to blend in a rectilinear projection to correct the distortion.

Just thinking about it makes me not willing to go through all the trouble to blend in a golden-hour shot with the National Day flag chopper flypast!

This was quite tough to stitch and blend. Had to do a rectilinear stitch for this panorama as adaptive wide angle wasn't giving me what I wanted, so the sides are a bit stretched. JD knows how to fix this though, so I'll wait for his rendition.

I stitched two panos for this image - one for the sunset and another for the blue hour building lights. Really tedious work. :bsmilie:

Finally did this scene, great location to capture the National Day fireworks, but you'll have to squeeze with other photographers vying for your space!

Three-shot pano to add a bit of space on the right and left parts of the frame.

Light was good that day, decided to head down to shoot this view because it was in the back of my head for a while, since I often pass by the area when travelling on the AYE. Thank goodness the football coach allowed me to shoot despite me pointing the camera at his team practicing in the field, after I explained to him I was shooting the landscape instead.

Sunset was ideal from the vantage point of the football field in ITE College Central, and fortunately the fiery clouds helped with the scene too. Had to wait for the football players to take a short break from their practice before shooting this scene in the middle of the football field.

State of Mine by Scintt, on Flickr

It's Singapore's 49th Birthday; here's an image with the flag flypast and the key icons in the downtown core that I feel best encapsulates the occasion.
