Schneider Kreuzach AF m43 lenses?

Have here. Affordability is the question, at least for me it is...It's built for cinematography in mind, though.

LoL I knew that already.. maybe I should've put affordability as a criteria. With that kind of price, I'll better off with Zeiss lenses in different mount or old Leica's with adapter.

AF or not, it will be bloody expensive and no way I am getting them.

I will only pay for Leica and Zeiss.

Let's wait and see... we might get surprises every now and then...

Can it wait until I get my yearly bonus? Or some chunk of gold fell from the sky ? :bsmilie:

Ok so its a 14/f2.. but no info on AF.. I would guess it is because no visible focusing marks..

The lens is a 14mm f/2.0 Super Angulon. 10 elements with 4 aspherical surfaces, plus surface coating. There are autofocus and electronic aperture control. The lens will carry a "less than 1500 Euros" launch price, whatever that means. All I can conclude is that this is a high-quality boutique lens that is beyond the budget of most m4/3 owners. I can get the trinity primes (12/2, 25/1.4, 45/1.8) for that same 1500 Euros (2400 SGD) with change leftover!

Funny thing about photography is, there will be a group of people that will spend that kind of money...

I would rather spend that money (or more) on a Leica with no AF. At least if I want to change system in future, can port over :P

Both lenses have that 1950s technical look, as though they're precise scientific instruments.

Some one please tell me why I would spend almost double that of the Olympus 12mm for the S-K 14mm?

My guess would be superior (or supreme!) optical performance, but that's for anyone. I'm not sure why you would spend so much. :)

It's like asking why I bought the Panasonic-Leica 25mm f/1.4 Four-Thirds lens. Of course, had that lens been assembled in Germany, I probably wouldn't have since it would be 3 times the price.
