Nice!
It reminds me of Slash(Guns n' Roses), in one of the scene in their MV - November Rain.

love your shots, man! you capture the moments and subjects' expressions very well. :)

Really nice headshots! Keep up the good work bro!

Epic works! Orchard road seems so much more interesting now

Hi Mr Danny,
I'm deviating a bit here, but I think I saw u in MRT from Khatib to Orchard yesterday(Sat) afternoon?..u were carrying ur powerful 'handgun'(D300) with u?..I followed u a bit at Orchard Rd hehe...I believe it was u?!..If I was alone I might have approach u n maybe walk a bit with u to see how u 'work' :) ..I beg ur pardon if it's a mistaken identity a..

I like ur series but I can never do it. I just don't have the courage to try.Hope to see the 'faces' u captured in the rainy weather posted in here soon :)

ahaha yes i think it was me... i'm from khatib. i'm glad you liked my series. Well, in my case, the fear and shyness will not go away, you just really have to try to get used to it. I wasn't able to get a lot of good faces yesterday because of the rain, but i got a few.. i'll be posting it soon. thanks again :)

Nice portraits,... just wondering,... would portrait orientation work better?

Nice portraits,... just wondering,... would portrait orientation work better?

Someone asked me that question before... for portraits in general, portrait orientation are indeed better. But I just have a personal preference for landscape orientation... we're so used to landscape orientation in movies, tv, laptops, etc.. i even feel that our eyesight is in landscape :) So i wanted to feel more natural -- not sure if this makes sense :)

loving the portrait series danny. I've been experimenting some too and can somewhat relate to the fun you're having!

hi danny,

yr works are really really awesome and inspiring. I've been wanting to try street photography for sometime now but nv had the guts to but after seeing yr shots i'm so gonna try it soon. Was just wondering, have u ever tried shootin elsewhere instead? like marina barage or esplanade or changi airport or even sentosa? Would these places be more of a challenge or easier to shoot?

Danny do u mind me asking how did u approach stranger for the portrait shots? I'm not sure what Shutter speed to use for street photography, I use iso 200 shutter 100 f1.8 and it's over bright, I tried to shoot with -1.0 exposure n it doesn't help, adjust and try Many ways and can't be resolve. Pls advice
