Anthony,

I trust you and this is why I believe we can deal without meeting, you
can send the photograph of the items to me for inspection as this will
do, following the receipt of the photograph, I will forward the
address to you.

Thanks!

haha this Anna Leong sent me an e-mail as well, but with a slightly different e-mail address (annaleong157@gmail.com). asked me the same questions too :bsmilie:

i got the email from her annaleong157@gmail.com too. Almost exactly the same message. Now she is travel to Korea. :bsmilie:

I wanted us to meet but I have traveled for a business trip to korea,
I want to buy the items for my daughter, she traveled on a vacation,
but couldn't buy the item because she was in a hurry but I want to
surprise her with this one, so please I want you to help me deliver it
to her through the courier office (dhl) I will pay the sum of $350 for
the postage cost, and I will also show you my appreciation, so please
respond as soon as you can so that I will send you the address and the
information for the delivery.

seem like this person contact you thru email you have listed in your thread, anyone, yes, anyone can access to your thread without sign up as a member with ClubSNAP.

so do you have this person nick here?
if no, than we can't really do anything.

you want to play safe, ask member to PM you,

That's the reason I don't list my email in CS.
Safer to have a phone number listed instead. Person either PM or sms only

Should move this thread to Consumer Corner.

Wow lucky I goggled the email and found this. She sends the same email to everyone! Same words! Yikes!

Got an email from Anna Leong <annaleong155@gmail.com> today.

Got suspicious when I read the email. Anyone who is looking to get a good deal on a 2nd hand camera wouldn't make it sound like your offer is exactly what they were looking for.

"I am happy I found your item for sale, and I think its the perfect article that I have been searching to acquire but I do have some
questions pertaining to my inquiry"

"The information you sent to me is exactly what I am searching for but I have a request and I need your assistance."

Always remember, if it sounds too good to be true, then it probably is!

oldest trick in the book. from nigeria to indonesia.

Just exercise common sense and do not ship anything until you get the cold hard cash in your hand. If it is a money order or cheque, cash it. if bank in, wait for it to clear, then withdraw it. and then ship the products.

the best is to avoid dealing with overseas buyers.

BTW this should be in Consumer's Corner. Moved.
