sb900 overpriced?

please do not offtopic, and thanks for the compliments btw.

i'm just sharing from my experience.

i have done outdoor shoots with 3 sb800 and SU controller, and i have done 1 powerpack + i head + 3 feet softbox/reflector (PROPHOTO pro B2 1200w).

for the prophoto powerpack, you can virtually light up entire model's body against a SUPER BRIGHT NOON sun.

and yes, if you dont have an assistant when you do shoots with the powerpack, you are as good as handicapped.it's as heavy as a car battery.
not to mention you need to bring a light stand.

there is absolutely no comparison between the 2 toys.

different purpose, different needs altogether.

For me I'll just bring several huge reflectors, diffusers and shades.. ;p Powered by the sun and they are much lighter. ;p
