It is indeed sad that this place is going to be a victim of redevelopment. One of my favorite place with great variety of birds and others. Sharing some pic taken last year:

I would say MOG is also a place that encourage creativity due to the various type of wildlife that can be found there.

These set of images was taken in 2003 when I owned my first DSLR, Nikon D1H. Digital photography was still in in infancy stage then. When I arrived at MOG on 1 Nov 2003 in the morning, I was greeted by this Oriental Magpie Robbin.

The lizard was absorbing the warmth of the morning until it fell asleep.

This bug continue to a puzzle me as to what it is (though it looked like an Assassin Bug which I have seen on a few occasions but they are not this colour).

Beautiful portfolio of photos; and the sharpness is incredible! Pls continue to shoot more of such. What lenses are you using? 300mm or even longer?
