zoossh, do you have a GND fixed on your lens all the time when you travel? I ask because logistically may be hard to keep taking it on and off. It seem apparent in #53 - #55.

i fixed it on my 10-20mm. when i removed them, i keep the filter holder and filter in one pouch, and keep the 10-20mm lens with UV filter and step up ring but without front cap in another pouch, if i need to change into another lens. if i'm using 10-20mm only, but wanted to remove the GND, i just slide it off with the holder, while the step up ring remain on the lens shooting without the GND. i remove the step up ring and put on lens cap when it is time to stop shooting e.g. when dark and going back to hotel.

and yes, they get dirty easily. i sacrifice good safe-keeping for speed and convinience.

zoossh, the vignetting seems to be quite obvious, is it added in or due to the filter holders?

i have a few other pictures that are correctly focused on the "right" parts,
but in the end i chose this photo becos the DOF is better balanced between
the face and torso. however said, the main purpose is still with the exposed
bosom. and i wonder why is such sculpture made so for this st james
cathedral at sibenik.... but now thinking back, she might have a thin inner
dress while the outer drape is crossed over at the sternum.
