Need to know if anyone out there who have info on where to get the Sanyo Xacti VPC-HD2 camcorder in Singapore. Need to know the price also and if possible a user review as well. Would like to hear from you. Thinking of getting it to viewcam my baby daughter before she gets less "cute" .
Thanks for the link to the dcresource review but I thought the review is silly to focus on reviewing as a digital camera with video taking capabilities when in actual fact should be reviewed the other way round. I'm personally interested in using it as a compact viewcam/camcorder that uses SDHC flash memory cards for storing HD video in mpeg4 format and not as a digital camera that's within my budget. That's why I wrote this thread under "video camera". Of course such a product will never yield good result as a digital camera and I don't expect it to. That's why I thought the review was silly. I have SLRs and DSLRs to help me take better quality still shots.
Hence, I'm interested to see preferably a local user review based on my criteria. At that price I of course don't demand a very high quality camcorder from it but at least if it's good enough for my purpose I'm interested. That's why I would like to know if any of you know where I can try or get one from within Singapore.
