I recently bought a Sanyo HD-800 too and was quite eager to use it after viewing very pretty clips taken with the machine and posted on vimeo. However, the videos I've been taking seem to fall far short of what I see on Vimeo. Any tips on achieving a better video? The colour in my videos tend to merge together (very much like a SD camera) with no definition and focusing is quite slow. Would be grateful for views on this. Thanks!

I just got the HD800 in Yodabashi for 52,000 yen including a 8GB SDHC card 15mb/sec

Just love it because i use a mac and it records in mpeg 4

Can the HD800 put add-on lens? It just looks very similar to the HD700. Look almost the same.

The price gap between HD800 and HD1010 is so small and the HD1010 package will come with charging dock! In this case, I will choose the HD1010 over HD800

yes.. u can.. but not screwed on, its a magnet that snap on to the area ard the lens.. this is the only option and it sucks since it will drop off if u move the camera too hard n fast..
