It does handle SDHC very nicely although the box doesn't explicitly specify. I believe many SD readers out there will read SDHC but some just aren't reliable or transfers slowly, like this one by IOGear:

Their mini-SD reader is ok but the SD/HC reader is BAADDD... avoid like the plague :angry:
