On my 5N, form factor is small. Looks pretty nice actually


I'm not a pro, can't really comment on CA and other stuff.. But like the guy at the shop said, just set focus to infinity, shoot n have fun !

based on my experience with Samyang FE the sweet spot is around 0.7m everything will be sharp... else you can test your NEX samyang try doing some test shot and view the image 100% see what setting that's optimize for your 5n. I am using A77 and EPL2 (via adaptor) my sweet spot is around that setting.

I think artworkfoto offers 2yrs warranty and sgcamerastore is just one year... not sure if what I heard is true for artworkfoto but go check it out. Gotten my FE at SGCamerastore normally they dont keep stock for Sony it's pre-order if normal not urgent they can give a good discount

just came back from sgcamerastore , order my samyang 8mm nex at $380 , cant wait for it to arrived these few days . when i was there i also tried out the new Cine 8mm for canon , i say not too bad for those who is into video

hehe sgcamera stoire always never have stock for sony thats a fact everything is pre-order but the good part is they are quite fast it just takes 2-3 days you'll get an sms saying your lens is ready.
