E-5 seems a little more saturated...

I dun think its more saturated. I believe its deeper colour rendition. Shud be head-on with Leica X1 now & not competing against big boys. Oly took my words seriously wor Nice la, the deeper hues is a good change to the colder NMOS look :thumbsup:

I don't need an Eizo screen... though I did get the missus a Longchamp bag. Unlike you, I am still thinking hard on the Mac Pro. Cannot see a reason to buy it though since I am not edit loads of video. Hmmm..... have to put money aside for the 645D you know? That is priority.

Haha, he taught me quite a lot of useful stuff,this is nuts compared to what he did and is still doing for me To me,it looks deeper as well, rather than more saturated. Use crowbar can use physics mah, hahahah, but all my physics stuff return to my teacher already :bsmilie:

Ok lah... I dun really know how to describe the difference in colour... but anyhow, I prefer the E-5 colours.

I like the deeper colours of the E-5 saturated a little,that's good news then,hahahaha

IMO, if Oly is competing with Leica X1 with this, its a wrong move. Its like $3k LV bag vs Guess wanting to sell their ver for $300. Everyone's perception is that Guess is only worth $120 or less. *Sweat*

That is what most of us use in China to access FB and flickr.

Contrast looks just right for me but the colors aren't as deep. But this is a simple fix.

Colors in this one looks better... but I don't like the contrast. A little too deep.

This looks a little washed out as compared to the image below.

Nice deep colors. But I would process the image in between these two for brightness and color intensity.

So far, the colors aren't that compelling for me to spend money on the E5. Really it doesn't. But maybe these are resized images so I will wait and see more pictures before making further decisions and comments. I hope the production models will be better. I know Olympus will be tweaking firmware.

I see... then it seems like both cameras are still not perfect... ha ha ha...

But regardless, I think there are some tweaks in the E5 that seems to hint that the colors are deeper, but that is something quite easily achieved in Silkypix isn't it? Probably be getting the E5 for its ability to shoot video, and nothing else. Sigh...

Matt shot the playground at high noon - not exactly the best time to judge blown clouds.

He should be eating lunch, not shooting - too hot la.
