Hi guys.

This is my first post in this forum.

I just got the 35mmF18 and totally LOVIN it.

No regrets at all really.

Got it from Cathay for 340.

Strongly urge the people sitting on the fence to go get it. It's really good value for money for such a great lens (I think).

Will share pictures soon when I get a chance to take some interesting ones.

Peace.
M

ermm, ...those were taken with the new 35mm f1.8.

Most Minolta AF lens are legendary now because of their very saturated colors but during their initial days in the mid 1980, Pple were complaining that it doesn't look natural !!! :dunno:

Got this from MSC today. One word SHARP!!! :)

Hi Synergyworld, how much you bought it for? A week ago, I checked with MSC - they were out of stock. So probably the new stock are in.:)

Now im tempted to sell my 50/f1.8 for the 35!

Picture of a S$4.50 donut...by the way, the one in the center is really nice.;)

this lens is sharp wide open!

equally amzing for 50 f1.8 for over 100 bucks..

now i can take pictures without worrying scratching my gears...

no more stress of using L lens...heheheh:D

:bsmilie: ...Glad you like them Sony 'easy choice' lense  ...how about the 85f2.8 ?

...I always believe cameras and lense are meant to be used and not kept in the cabinet for admiration. :sweatsm:

i dont think i need so many lenses...
the 35 and kit 18-55 will suffice..
i letting go my 50mm tho..will not be using..
personally i find 50mm a bit to tight for my liking...unless u r portrait..
35mm suits me better...better if can get around 16mm (35mm) tat will be nice

i hope they will improve the finishing of DSLT range....A55 finishing really too cheapo, to be honest...but i like the weight tho...can use better plastic and better finishing..the switches feel like toy, and can come out any time..

For the price I paid for the A55, I can't really complain about the finishing and it is certainly no worst then the 500d we have. ...guess we shouldn't be comparing S$1,000+ cameras to $4,000+ cameras.

For me, it's about the feature sets(Which I've put to good use) and like I said previously, my equipments were purchased to be used and not for looking at ! :bsmilie:
