btw, i had tried the rubber bands method not sure correctly used or not. maybe i will post out picture later and let bro weishengg see see correct or not :bsmilie:

Hahahahahaha,a bird of feathers flock together.Bravo yeh!:bsmilie:

Just called sony care and the guy over the phone told me it can be repaired. Either the technician tightened the barrel OR change the component completely. He told me that current waiting time is average 10 working days due to holidays provided there's no need for parts replacement.

Anyway, i tried the rubberband method. not sure i need right or wrong, because it's still happening

Tip: Before you try and talk "profoundly", make sure you can write in proper English with correct grammar first :p Bad grammar just throws any credibility (if any) of yours out of the window.

Anyway, I dont agree that the 16-105 can ever be sharper than the CZ. Do show your results to substantiate your claim instead of talking too much trash. =)

Cheers.

I was too lazy to buy the rubber band and I found the next best solution - your index/middle finger. I always keep one of them on the zoom ring whenever I'm handholding my camera. Works like a charm. Haha.

Oh yeh I was as a Chinese,I have no mixed blood of others,so do excuse me.I am always a C:lovegrin:hinese.

...Think it's time for mods to kick spambots out of the forum ! :dunno:

Whose the spambot here?crying wolf.

Kekekekeke.sony 16-105mm should be far sharper than the CZ IMHO,but contrast & Color wise will be outbeat by cz,but nevertheless I wouldn't pay just because of a littlle improvement again 16-105mm by 100 % prices different .May be some will still like the CZ as they have the extra dolls......................

I owned tamron 17-50, Sony 16-105 and cz 16-80 before. U can check my sales threads and u can see its true as I sold all of them when I upgraded to a850.

I tested all 3, the sharpest among them is the cz, followed closely by the 16-105. The tamron is 3rd, but imo its for a different purpose (low light and shallow dof)

Use a wide rubberband, it should work. That's what I did last time :)

Maybe the good old $0.20 black rubber band( that we used on our SAF helmet ) from army market can help although that may be an overkill on the lens...
