Safe to buy from DDE electronics?

Hi guys I've been looking to buy a SB-700 flash unit. I've obtained quotes from artworkfoto, SLRR and many shops and funan but DDE electronics sells it at a very good price of $345 bucks. hello there, they are reliable and very friendly. bought a canon 580ex ii from them and also a couple of lens hood from them.

just to take note, they provide SHOP warranty as their items are all export sets. call them up, enquire for the price, make a reservation and you will be able to collect it in about 3-4 working days if they do not have stock.

but please make sure you do your homework regarding the price very thoroughly as some of their items might be cheaper than others and some might be of no difference from a local set.

For Camera body, better get local warranty. More complex electronic parts and costly to repair. Also, they don't have the tech and knowledge to help you to debug and test the problem if you encounter within the year.

I bot stuff from the store. You don't even need to pay a deposit to order. Hence it is safe in the sense. If the concern is about the quality of goods, then they are definitely 'safer' to buy from as they have a physical store, tel number, an established website, than
to buy from a private individual from the buy and sell section here.

I bought flash from them. Service not too bad. Pay by cash get better discount.

I found DDE in AU is much cheaper thn SG. But more tax applied. Not all item is cheap. Their warranty not from the manufacturer but by DDE itself, almost same as export set.
