Not worth. The stuff that are useful to you probably costs $30max. Might as well go buy from the usual camera shops. No crowd and use the balance cash to buy a case you like
The Canon S90 is really an amazing cam. The noise control is very good for a almost pocketable P&S and the good thing about it is how much details it has even after the in-camera noise reduction.
Mind you, I have the Fuji F20 and F31 too and I can say these Fuji has low noise but they make pictures looks like water color after the in-camera noise reduction! Furthermore, the Fuji legends at a mere 36mm widest is not an useful tool to me!
Lumix LX3 probably better IQ than S90 but it is just too big to be a everyday cam for most people except the more hard core one.

Noise performance wise it is probably the best of all the compact cameras in the market right now. IQ is very good too.
Was reading Hardwarezone mag just now and there was a brief review of S90 - very favourable comments and overall rating 9.5.

Think it depends on how you measure out 'better IQ'. I've seen side-by-side test between the 2, and the overall result is that LX3 has sharper images, more noise in high iso settings, and handles WB badly under fluorescent light.

Personally I will not read HWZ mag for camera review. Saw a few cam reviews in it before, but doesn't seem to tell you much other than what you can already read from most websites. I mean it is rather abstract when it comes to cam reviews.
Finally got one? ;p
S90 has better noise control than LX3 at higher ISOs I feel...this is a plus for those who shoot mainly in poor or low light.

Still save for my S90... ;p wait wait wait.... another 6 month maybe...
