S7000 in Singapore?

S7000 is available in sg already.... MS Colour quoted $1,170 w GST (cash/NETS) ...but heard that only limited stock...

Bought a S7000 unit from MS color roughtly at this price with GST.

Anybody can explain how they can charge so much lower than the MSP $1399 wGST ?

I will getting Sanyo super quick charger and TCON 17 from them this weekend.

Was told there would be a fujifilm roadshow this weekend, kinda regret to buy impulsively, thought the first few shots are very good to my expectation, newbie to this DC game.

roadshows usually sell the camera at the full retail price but with free gifts thrown in.

$1,170 is quite a good price.... lower than S602Z when it was first launched.

The camera shops (Cathay Photo, MS Color, Alan Photo, John 3:16. etc) do sell cameras at competitive prices. Makes me wonder why I previously only bought cameras from the big electrical stores.

This is my first time buying my first DC from a "ulu shop", though I was told only established "ulu shop" would have small quantity of S7000. The big boys like best denki, HM, Courts didn't seem to have any.

I will be trying my luck at the roadshow too, hopefully can buy couple of accessories for my baby.

I beginning to love S7000 alot, and as a newbie, the many criticims about noise, slow shutter speed yet to have a full impact.

I just got an email from Fuji. There is free Shuttle service from ang mo kio & paya lebar mrt stations every 15 min this Sat (11am to 7pm) & Sun (10am to 7pm) to facilitate their sale as well as their 20th anniversry. So don't think it is restricted to only a sat sale. but of course if you want to get some stuff, then Sat's the day to go :bsmilie:

my friend had just bought the S7000 from TK Foto at Beach Road at 1150 w/ GST. Great features and extremely good photos for such a price, only complain is that the grip is a bit on the large side and harsh compression, other than that, great camera.

for those of you who already own S7000, care to share some info on your cam? how do you find it? i am lost between an A1 and S7000. okay price wise, the S7000 is about 400 bux diff, but what about the details?

Was at Funan just now. Saw S7000 on sale at least in 2 of the larger computer shops...

Never asked about the price though. I was at John 3:16 searching for 49mm filters..But there is a fuji roadshow going on right now at the basement. I was there late so there was nobody there. I think it should start today or tomorrow. I guess.

I was there just now, they are selling $1399 with 2x64MB XD cards, case, bag and tripod + batt/charger

abit ex comparing to those bought from MS color @1070 .. anyone know if their stock came in already?

As compared to S602Z, there really isn't much significant improvement for the S7000 besides more MPs isn't it?

Me thinks Minolta A1 or Sony F828 are better choices. But then again, maybe they're of different leauge from S7000... :dunno:
