Carry on shooting Tachyon. Are your shots taken at Depot Road? The S5 Pro is capable of producing an ideal picture for every situation depending on your needs, if you know what I mean. We need to play around with it more often.

Hi! Near - at Telok Blangah. Yes, took a few more pictures today at East Coast. Will experiment until I get the 'ideal' settings for different shots.

SVG84R,

awesome colors!!!

we moderators have agreed that this is an equipment forum, thus images should not even be posted here, and chitchats should go to the kopitiam.
images closely related to TECHNICAL details of the equipment can be accepted, eg: comparison of bokeh, iso grain, etc. or even one or two normal unedited images is ok
but apart from that, ALL images should go to the gallery forums provided. that includes day-to-day pictures, snapshots, etc.

if there is no self-regulation, i'm sorry but we'll have to do our job.

So there will be no S5 pictures thread?

As you can see, this thread is one of the most popular threads in Clubsnap attracting 44,000 views to date. Maybe this thread can be moved somewhere else if you will, to allow S5 Pro users to show the prowess of this DSLR?

the prowess of the S5 can be showed to the masses by posting in relavent galleries and including exif and other data in the posts.
many more people will see the results the good camera can produce if the users will execute the image postings with relevant data and titles.

but as for this thread exists in the equipment section, i cannot allow it to accumulate a mumbojumbo of random snaps.

i agree. it was started by cheesecake afterall one of the mod.

Anyway, please let users post their s5pros just like LX3, nikon and canon users. If you wish to close this thread, maybe my suggestion is to do it across the board with all other sub forums else tongues will wag on why only fujifilm forum with already some really high profile cases here of late.

All said, we still see sigma lens photos, D90 photos etc etc allowed in other sub forums. I believe this thread is no exception. Of cus you call the shots but with all fairness may i ask you reconsider this closure or implement it across everywhere.

Seems like a massacre here these days.

mumbojumbo is relative. to you might be a snapshot but to others it might mean the world.

maybe a new ruling to incude exif data will be better?

unfortunately if it's mumbojumbo to me, it goes out.

there is no brand bias here as i'm a fuji user since the old S1pro S2pro days and still is.

but i suggest leave the moderation jobs to the mods and help us by understanding we work for the good of the entire forum's operation and not for cliques here and there.

so if you have good images, please post them in the relevant galleries to share with the rest of the forum and leave tcss to the kopitiam.

images with genuine technical weight can stay.

thank you.

tat is reassuring. alright. you got a pt on technical photos But i have to disagree on the "unfortunately if it's mumbojumbo to me, it goes out." thingy. kinda' contradicts on your latter statement. Nevertheless, its good you pointed your expectations and hopefully we see more photos on this section

"Dynamic range" is the selling pt of the fuji s5pro and her colors secondary to her older sisters!
