S5Pro - Firmware update/upgrade.

thxs bro... I got underexpose problem with my ZF cz 85f1.4... It went under for almost 1,5 stop... But after upgrade to V1.11 it became better... Thxs for the link..

yes you can upgrade direct from 1.08 to 1.11

if you don't like the version after upgrade, you still can downgrade if you like too..

I followed the instructions on the fuji website but still cannot upgrade the software. It keeps saying "no memory card loaded". But there is a memory card inside! Cannot copy the file over. Anyone has a clue? :dunno:

Just updated mine to 1.10

btw how come everytime (before n after firmware upgrade) when i connect the camera to the PC the finepix program always download all the photos? I thought it suspose to download those that is not saved? i already enable this option but it still download all the photo anyone can help?

Try not to use the Fuji program connected via computer to upgrade your firmware.

Download the fpupdate.dat file and transfer it to a "formated" CF card. Follow the instructions online and run the program within the camera.

Thanks bro but i have already pdates the firmware.. just wanna check that when i plug in the camera the finepix program will automatically be loaded then pictures transferring will start.. but it always transfer all the picture in my cf card and not from where it last saved. I already set the option but the program still transfer all the photos... wasting lots of time

firmware 1.12 is out. here are the details.

The firmware (Ver.1.11 to Ver.1.12) update incorporates the following issue.
An issue that, in some rare case, the camera may be frozen when PC controlling software (included in "Hyper Utility　HS-V3") is used, has been resolved.​

Just upgraded to version 1.12.

However something strange I noticed was, unlike previous upgrades, this version did not prompt me to turn off the camera after it was done. Instead, the LCD went blank and the program ended by itself.

I checked the firmware version and it shows 1.12.

Did you guys experiencing the same thing as mine?

I do use HyperUtility once a while.

Nonetheless, the camera firmware is upgraded. I am just puzzled over how the new program runs.

just upgraded mine. i did get the prompt to turn off the cam. not sure why yours did not. did you download from singapore site? maybe flash again?

I downloaded mine from the US website. It should be the same link though.

Tested with HyperUtility this morning and it works fine.
