A good start indeed. Have fun!!! Lots of them.

Thanks, I noticed you do have quite a lot of good flower shots in your flickr.

The S5 macro is starting to make my 100mm rather redundant. :)

Some more, straight out of camera, can't really tell accurately from my cpu, but the green seems a tad too vivid.

Lovely series. Very nice! How much pp have you done to these shots?

tks, glad you like it. most photos wr combined from 3-4 shots, each of 3 different settings. using photomerge in cs3, qt a bit of pp ;p

btw, do you guys find tht photos of s5 aren't sharp or is it just me?

Yah I would say the green is too vivid if you are going fo natural shot feel. But hey I like it, its artistic. Btw, you can adj the JPG vivid setting in the cam, so the out of cam JPG won't be so vivid if you want.:)

Hi, the 3 shots looks sharp (at least with this on-screen resolution), but your 3rd pic looks over sharpen or may be due to downsizing. With this star burst, you should be using f8 I assumed, it should be sharp on a S3, but I am not sure of S5 though....but it should be the same optically....:)

Yup, you are right. The shots were actually taken using the vivid mode.

I tried tweaking the colour in my cpu later on as it seemed just a bit "too green", but eventually left it as it was cause it seemed to have more impact. Thanks for feedback.:)

Nice abstract. The lines from the tripod and the shadows are complimentary. Good work bro.;)

But would prefer the circular piece not to be there....or is it part of the tripod?

Part of the floor. It is a cover to power/network points. They were all over the place.

Shadows are due to this huge skylight two floors above me.

Thanks for viewing!

Oic, thanks for the clarification.:)

No, almost all of my shots are not pp, too lazy and know very little.

That shot was shot on tripot with a cheap no-brand wide angle len.

The setting of the shot:
Exposure: 1 sec (1)
Aperture: f/3.2
Focal Length: 7.6 mm
ISO Speed: 80

Just curious, since you have a tripod, why not shoot at f8?

Thanks.

O, sorry, I forgot, the smallest is f8 huh? Sorry for that.:)

Another reason is that with f8, the exposure time will be much longer, but this bridge will shake when there are people walking or jogging, that's why I try to use the fastest shutter speed as possible.

O! The vibration is so obvious? Wow! Haven't been there, must go soon. Thanks for the clarification.:)
