was bored at home, so decided to play ard with my new cam.

I think the composition of those shots could be better. Perhaps you could look at shots taken by others and see how their shots are composed.

Telephoto worked well on muaythai....except the noise performance is very bad....most of my pics ve to be converted to BW to cover up the noise..

Here are my recent shot at Disneyland Hong Kong(Night Scene) taken during my family holiday with this wonderful cam(S5IS)....

All shot taken with a Cheapo Tripod @ variable shutter and aperture value + a pop up flash diffuser..... All C & C is most welcome

Nice photos....can share setting and whether you use exteral flash? Me finding night photography a bit tricky...guess got to practice lots with my tripod.
 

I dun think flash is fired. Try not to use flash for night landscape...your flash power will not be strong enough and you will get exposure only for the near (few meters) areas and the far areas will be black or severely underexposed. Use a tripod, set your ISO to the lowest, use f4 for SxIS camera and let the long shutter speed do the work....unless you need to freeze moments, then, use larger aperture and/or up ISO...hope this can help to jump start a little.:)
