You don't paste your photo in your post, instead, you will need to have an account with a photo hosting site, such as flickr, etc. Upload your photos there, and paste the link over to your post here.

Good one! Wonderful details!

Tks bro, still learning to capture more captivating photo...

The Lens used in the S5IS is quite suitable, since it is the same as the S2IS & S3IS. I have never had any hotspots. No idea about the filter in front of the sensor though.

Wish to share a few shots taken during my recent trip to China:

Nice! Hand held or with a tripod?

Hope you do not mind a suggestion. Next time, you might want to try taking it in portrait format, instead of landscape. This way, you get to see more of the water fall, and less of the rocks on the side.

Bali- Patterns in the Sand

This was the beach outside one of the places I stayed in last year. The sand grains have a few colours, and the black grains are heavier then the light coloured grains.

Cerebrus, thanks for the suggestions. I was hoping to see some and that is the reason why I posted it.

It is hand held while squatting at the edge of the stream. The waterfalls covers an area of no more than 1m X 1m...

This pic is cropped out from one of the 18 shots I took... I will check to see if there are portrait ones...

The joys of a stabilised lens!

You might want to try a square crop. Do not be restrained by the original dimensions of the picture. ;)

Hey, for pet shots, try to go down low. Your S5IS has a tilt/swivel LCD. Shoot it from the level of the pets head. Will give a different perspective from how we normally see our pets. Try to keep the eyes on focus also.

ok cerebus,noted:thumbsup:
