Cool! I am trying to learn how to use the FM2....my bro passed it to me.:)

Dont worry. I dont mind. =) Had no time to learn on using the S3 to the max. Bought it b4 the trip, read the manual on the plane. More used to using my FM2. =)

Hi NightZ88 bro, I think the DR was too high at Noon. The pic was exposed for shadow, rather than highlight. I prefer the shadow (like the area under the chin) detail then the stone....may be a HDR will do the job....what do you think? Or do you think the DR is within the S3's sensor range?:)

sry.. but i disagree wif wat u say. dat shot was overexposed.. look at e head and wateva it was standin on.
besides.. tis side profile is alittle too bland for me. i wld prefer it to haf more of an angle.. :)

This is scrary....nice, but like his left leg to be in...to show more impact that he is only supported by the spears...:)

Nice pics. May I ask if you did any post-processing? I tried out the S3 at Comex and it was quite noisy at auto-iso. What iso did you use for these pics? Also, what percentage of shots taken at this concert were good? I understand that the S3 struggles under low-light condition.

thanks.nope.i dont do ps.im dumb at it.hmm auto iso not noisy lei to me.i used iso 200 and 400 for some.hmm around 40 percent only good.yar it does struggle under low light.

40% is not too bad, I think. Were you using flash?

Hi all,

Here is another of Hann's pic....After A Good Cry....I was trying to capture his wet looking eye lashes....but it seems like only the effect (lashes stick together) is left, but the wet look is not very obvious....:)

Please give me your comment.

Thank you for viewing.

Nah, they are actually lights along a walkway. Its NTU's SADM.

The dancing girl was from Ballet under the Stars.

Oic, so you underexpose it while taking the pic or you PP?

what metering mode do u guys use? evaluative or center weighted or spot? :dunno:

I use center weighted most of the time...but when I need to meter tiny spot, then I will use spot metering.:)

Under it a bit. I actually took a few shots with different shutter speeds. I did a wee bit of levels to get the colours right.

Oh no...now I am viewing from my company's monitor, my Hann's pic is too bright!! I had the same prob when I was doing my Hann's shilouette pic too and cerebrus, now I can see the lamp post on you "floating light" pic.....Oh, I must go home and tune up my monitor brightness more (personally I dun like bright monitor when working on PC, except photography).....always forget to tune it back.

Sorry guys, I have to make changes to the pic, then re-post...:(

Calibration can be such a pain..... You should not be able to see the post that well in my picture, maybe your work monitor is a bit too bright. Are you using a LCD?
