No leh... on my recent flights to and from Melbourne, only the teaspoons and tablespoons are metallic... fork and knife all plastic already.

ya..it would look absolutely ridiculous trying to approach the cockpit with a plastic knife :bsmilie:

it's all in their records. they remember you once barged into the cockpit. no more metal cutlery for you now. ;p

btw, my recent trips to china on sq all metal cutlery leh.

hmmm i juz flew sq... metal fork, spoon and butter knife :S weird

omfg! i didn't even imagine that it's possible to get into a cockpit and snap shots of it. you're so darn lucky =(. should have gotten more pictures. or the air stewdesses =p

Hmmm.. after the fiasco with Roti Prata and the photos on his album which belongs to Airliners.net, I viewed this pic again.

philiptan, you have very sharp eyes. Good job!

Quite true, Hexlord... very interesting to find out I was right after all...

I feel cheated.

Should've known... how can you use a 300f/2.8 in the cockpit and get the whole cockpit console?

Roti_prata, you're an outright cheat.

Oh, I take back my invitation regarding ninervictor.com.... we don't need cheats like you in our small community.

Chanced upon this thread linked to the other one - just to add that a pilot trainee friend told me that it is IMPOSSIBLE to enter the cockpit after 9/11 even super buddy buddy friends.

Huh??? I was just about to say that he definately have a very steady pair of hand to snap such a sharp picture on a moving aircraft under this kind of light

the 300/2.8 i took this with was returned:sweat: oso i wont hav much time to plane-spot.

there're way-points along the way
siao...how to shoot this with a 300mmf2.8?

I think he's imspired by Frank Abagnale... You know catch me if you can? Guy impersonated a pilot among other things.

Yah u can apply for an saf scholarship. And when you fail you can always impersonate an officer. Army surplus at beach road sells the ranks. Maybe can even get a ride in an f16.

But best advice I can give u, scumboy, is to find the longest rifle, turn it around and pull the trigger. Oops....is that you in the ugly photo? Guess you found the rifle. The rest is easy. Or did u lift that photo off someone's site?

Is that pic really his?

FYI, a moving aircraft aint swaying around much, so a sharp picture at low shutter speeds is possible:)
What surprises me is that he used a 300mm in this enclosed space...
Thats is almost like getting a full body shot of a model in a HDB-flat bedroom.

roti_prata,

With all due respect, i really have doubts that it is your work. Please prove me wrong... But you had been uploading a lot of aircraft photos that is the "same" as other airline sites... again... not "similar" but the "same". There's been a lot of talk about your leeching in the kopi tiam threads. Do prove all of us wrong or stop leeching other people's work. Remember, its better to shoot badly than to steal other people's work.

Guys, you can check the kopi tiam's thread for further clarifications...
