Btw..this is only true for the requirements stated. For new camera man like me it is not true. Cause if I don't get paid I am going onto the street to shoot people (the opportunity cost to shoot his/her wedding will be very low then)...but like what other said...

I do not have:

1) Registered company
2) A good portfolio
3) Not a Pro

- PG for event (approx 4hrs)
- photo type: journalistic + conventional (indoor & outdoor at Esplanade area)

- unlimited shots
- All photos to be compiled in hi-res, raw format, cd/dvd
- editing service included an advantage
- price range -> $250 to $350

- friendly/sociable
- with registered company
- adequate no. of yrs of experience for ROM.

actually me too. quite irritating to read threads where the "pros" come in comment on thread starter's budgets. If the price is too low for them, they should move on to other threads.

yup. had asked togu to step in when i posted the thread. apparently, there are some "big-headed pros" in the forum who have their ego up in the sky. Let this be an example for others who plans to request for services. If need any help, the mods here are always ready to assist.

will take the job for $800. 70 4R photos at 80cent each without post procesing; $2 each with post processing. CD of unlimited coverage without post process is $450 per CD (usually 10 - 15 CDs for half day coverage).
