rollei 35

Have anyone tried double exposure with the Rollei 35? What I was told it is possible if you wind the lever and hold it there while advancing the frame.

Another thing I noticed is when I do long exposure such as 1/4 - 1/2s, you need to hold on to the shutter button, if you release while the shutter is open, the shutter will close prematurely.

any idea where else i can get any of rollei 35 series?
by the way, what are all the differences in the 35 series?

I think I saw one at Camera Workshop, not sure abt the price though.
I got my made-in-singapore Rollei 35S at approx SGD 200 in Europe. I think the price in Singapore for the same model might be substantially more than that.
Dont let that deter you though. Its a neat piece of art - design wise.

Hi ppl,

I just got Rollei 35S and it appears to need some CLA but I'm not sure where to go. The lens does not stay in place after being retracted and the lens & viewfinder appears to be a litle dirty.

Can I please ask if anyone of you experience these problems when you first bought your Rollei? Also, have you sent your Rollei for repair or CLA before? Maybe you can share some of your experiences or even recommendations?

Try Cam X and camera hospital.. I have mine fix at P&G last year, cost me $350 for slow shutter.
