*** Directions to The Sail ***​

By MRT
Nearest MRT station is Raffles Quay (about 5 mins walk underground). Exit the barriers and turn left and head up the escalators next to 7Eleven. Head towards Exit J (the tunnel signposted to Lau Pa Sat and One Raffles Quay). You will see a green tunnel signposted as One Raffles Quay. Follow this to till you see the long escalators, go up these and then head out of the glass doors straight in front of you. you will go up a short escalator and see The Sail in front of you. Head towards the Orange glass and you will see us.

By Car
There is parking at The Sail and also at One Raffles Quay. Rates are around S$3-5 per hour, but as I don't drive, please don't quote me.

By Taxi
There are taxi drop-off/pick-up points at The Sail and One Raffles Quay. The full address is below in case the taxi driver doesn't know where we are:

By Bus
There are a number of buses that go to the bus stop outside One Raffles Quay:

no, i normally dont take attendance nor check that anyone is missing as i select sheltered venues that we stay at the whole duration of the outing. I just let the latecomers come as they are.
We normally practise different themes with lighting setups, otherwise known as off-camera flash, on-location studio lighting or strobist lighting. That's why we dont move around.

for this outing, i ask that everyone arrive early so that tim can let us access the condo clubhouse as a whole group and not trouble him running up and down as he is shooting also.

One suggestion to generate future outing ideas.
Everyone can keep a file of pictures that they want to recreate and we can each show the pic during the outing.
We can then decide which is the most feasible idea or set of ideas that we can try to recreate for future outings. This way we can have more ideas to shoot towards.

One idea that comes to mind for future outings is to recreate music album covers or make pics that are similar.

good idea ... perhaps we can agree of the theme of the outing eg traditional attire. then we can all come in whatever tradition attire and create the photo we want. in this case possible shoot could include one race hugging anther race while the third race smiling and etc. just a thought.
