Maybe these were the ex stock. For people reading this and thinking to get a GXR better act fast before the new stock arrived with revised pricing which it will be higher price.

I have found prices around 190 Euro for the VF-2 in Germany today. That equals 292$.

PS
We have a tax rate of 19%. That is important too.

Recently swopped my older CV 35/1.2 for the new version. Wide open, it definitely has better contrast and less CA, though there's some. Stop down to f2.8 onwards and especially past f4, it becomes extremely sharp. Sharp enough to resolve far away details. In short, I think this lens is worth every penny, and if you can afford the new version especially, you will definitely be happy.

So wide open or close to wide open...

And then the bokeh.

The last shot was done while I was going up an escalator and then I realised then that when my aperture was at 1.2-1.4 and defocused, there was an interesting feel to the picture. Hmm.. Maybe I will take it differently next time..

nice color.

look like all pic sharing on this thread now are from M module..others module are put to retire in dry cabinet ?

I sold off my 50mm macro module due to lack of use (and I needed to fund my Olympus EM5).

Hey guys, I'm a new GXR user here! Just bought it with an A12 M-Mount and VF2 about 1 week ago. Loving it so far! Below are some shots I've made with my new baby and two Carl Zeiss lenses:

The GXR and Carl Zeiss lenses are match made in heaven! They produce some serious pop! ;)

Grandma showing off her cute daughter ; Notice the flare at the left corner. Strange, not the usual flar we would normally see from lens changable system.

The light seems to be truncated by the roof, maybe that's y the flare?

OT a bit. The 4R print of the little girl looks like mine:)

I expect to have flare, but did not expect it turned out this way. Look at the grandma right leg.
Anyone have similar experience ?

Well, I get that sort of flare with the Panasonic 7-14 lens. Granted, that is an extreme wide angle.

i use 7-14mm before..that lens is very prone to flare. I am not complaining about the flare nor I dislike.
just that the shape of the flare is not the normal I seen it other lens changable system.
