I won't bother with the new GXR body rumor, especially when there is nothing happening or leaks during the four months after that rumor.

My only wish is for an integrated EVF.

You are RIGHT!! The films prices increases. Kodak is already increasing the price. Hmmm... I might revert back to Ricoh.

I shoot film mostly nowadays, more for the artistic value, especially B&W and slide films and certain color films. BUT, I would warn you that it is really a money sink sometimes. If you go into M mount, there's always the risk you have multiple copies of the same lens focal length because ... they each have their own characteristics that you like. For example, the 50/1.5 C-Sonnar's CA at wide open is beautiful in B&W, bokeh is great too. I have a 50mm/f1.4 Nikkor Millennium that I grew to love too after shooting it a little. Seriously, this is nuts. But the heart and brain are both equally hard to please.

Now I'm debating getting the OM-D. Because for practical reasons, AF is the way to go especially in the long term. MF is useful when you want some artistic value. Zeiss SLR primes have that unique look that most other brands cannot duplicate.

Haven't posted here for a while, bumping up this thread a bit. Some shots taken a while back in Beijing.

Started a Travel with GXR thread, feel free to drop by, C&C welcome:)

Have not posted quite a bit in here. Seems like the A12 popularity is waning ...

It's still a very capable camera in my opinion. Particularly perfect for travel. My recent works with the A12 M and VT12mm

Any rules and regulations?

it says 1 pic per person......
A12 waining cos now too many new cameras flood the market, so smaller brands will slowly dissapear..

Need to bring GXR out more often! I like this one more. There's no water movement at all?

Very calm waters during low tide. Yes, GXR with the 12mm ... quite formidable pairing.
