The GXR has a very slide film like output on the Vivid mode.

Granted it is a matter of taste, but having shot on Provia, Velvia, I kinda like the output.

Shot entirely with GXR + Leica 35mm Elmarit

The CZ lenses are really top notch.

Here's one to share of ZM 50/2 taken a while back. Sharpness end to end, no post sharpening required, even wide open.

I regret selling this lens ... some samples of this lens have quite tight focus ring, and I didn't quite like my one because of that. Otherwise, optically as you've indicated, the lens is capable of resolving lots of details, and with the GXR is definitely a good fit. And of course as you've shown on this example, super duper sharp, and I just like the way the star effect the Zeiss ZM lenses gives whenever it's pointing at a light source.

Agree. I used it a lot too for my landscapes. Save me lot of time trying to get the colors right when the GXR is capable of producing it on a JPEG. ;-)

The sensor is incredibly prone to dust. I don't think the local distributor provides a lot of support. Might have to make do with just the dust blower.

Ya, it's 2nd time i kenna already. Hope the blower can get rid of it. The support is rather weak, once I somehow bent the VF2 beyond 90deg had to bring it to AD, they didn't know how to do it, had to sent back HK and that took 3 weeks. Luckily, I suppose getting used to manual focusing with GXR makes me a patient man:bsmilie:

How do you get dust on the sensor? Wouldn't having the shutter closed when changing lenses help?

It doesn't help if the rear element has dust and it falls onto the sensor during use.

Bros, does the 28mm unit have an AA filter or is it like the M mount unit i.e. no AA filter? I am contemplating getting the 28mm or the upcoming zoom for a trip in June to Paris and London.
