Ricoh GR

Hi Guys! After browsing through every page of this thread, I'm poisoned and impressed by the capabilities of this small camera.
I am actually considering the Q7,RX100II, but after reading and seeing the pictures posted by the brothers here, I have set my mind to get the GR.
Can anyone advise me which camera shop offer the best price including gst, and are the limited accessories still available for free or is available for purchase?

Thanks! :)

You should have done so when GR is launched.

What kind of accessories ? If it is the limited edition like red ring, it is not for sale. Only GR Club members get to enjoy it.

Yes, If I knew it, I would had bought when it was launched, however, I had missed it.
I don't currently not staying in Singapore, just back occasionally. So the red strap and ring are only available for GR Club members. If i were to join the club, is the limited red strap and ring still available? Thanks!

It's a worthy landscape camera, isn't it!? 1 incredibly nice thing about GR is, in manual mode, you can achieve more than 4 mins exposures without going bulb. Never reach those heights, so I cannot be sure the exact number of seconds. Slap on a ND Filter, add on the in-cam ND, and you get really long exposures with this smallish setup.

Great pics! Are you using threaded filter with step-up ring?

Nice work!
Thanks alvinchuan!

Very nice, OOC somemore!
Thanks jtsky, vivid mode on GR is really nice :)

Ya, it's really great not to fumble with extra cable release and no stacking of screw in filters with built in ND! Shot was 2min exposure with a 6 stops ND+in built ND filter.

You don't have to step up as GW3 is taking 62mm filters. I use step up as I have 82mm set - 3,6,10 stops.

Speaking about star trails... what's the desired settings for taking them? Do I set interval setting at say every minute, and do a 30-second exposure each time? To give the camera some room for processing time...

Any nice spots in Singapore too?

Anyone know whether Ricoh GR hotshoe can take any external flash brand (manual), e.g. YongNuo flashes? and wireless flash trigger, like YongNuo RF 602?

should not be a problem. I have been shooting with remote flash trigger on both GXR and GR. here is my setup,
GXR/GR + Yongnup flash trigger + Olympus F50

But I can't find the menu/settings to change the flash to external flash, hence unable to trigger the YongNuo flash mounted on hotshoe. From the manual, external flash section, it seems I need to use GF-1 to have this menu/option enabled.
Regarding the YongNuo RF 602 trigger, I can't mount it on hotshoe, the pins are too big.
