Amazing indeed, seen it in action @ outing , fast indoor, lighting fast outdoor, IQ wow feeling! All packaged inside a body so tight. The grip is so seemless feeling that you won't want to let go!

1st at ISO250 with strobe.
2nd pic at ISO2200 and 3rd pic at ISO6400 is with LED light.
That's why "GR21". It's a GR with GH3+GW3. Lazy to type.

it takes me 2 sec to remove GH3+GW3 together.
GW3 filter size is 62mm. So far I have one CPL and ND filter for GW3.

there is one switch button to unlock and remove the GH3 (with GW3 mounted on) from GR. quite easy.
if you want to have the GH3 on and just remove GW3, it may take long time to unscrew the GW3 alone.

Yes, same goes for using filters.
The GH3 can make it less pocketable, but since I always have a cam bag with me, I am alright with it permanently attached (I guess). Good too if you put on a filter on it. Sort of keep it dust free for more horrid situations such as the recent haze or if you are in a location where the surroundings require it.

Could not tahan anymore. Went on amazon.jp and ordered one. It's free shipping to vpost JP and if u sign up for a new vpost account with all the freebies thrown in shipping to sg ends up around 10. So total cost of camera comes in under 1200 which is about 100 more than buying in sg. Hopefully I get it within a week.

Can use a Zeiss filter of 62mm on the GW3.

Want to see a showdown between the Zeiss 21mm 2.8 + D800E vs the Ricoh GR with 21mm converter?

Also, another comparison - this is the bottom right part of the picture (about 30% of the entire picture). Notice how the GR+GW3 sharpness and contrast is just a little worse than the Zeiss 21mm which is prob the best performing 21mm now. All said, i'd sacrifice a little drop in IQ for the pocketability of the GR, though I don't see myself using the GW-3 that much since it's a hassle.
And I think Ricoh is a bloody robber to make us buy the hood and adapter for close to SGD$90 just to use the GW-3 again. They are nothing but two pieces of plastic.
