I have had a GR1v for ages and now i'm looking to get a serious GR compact, and wondering where is the best place to get one.

If anyone has any suggestions with regards to getting on at the best price, do let me know, as i'm a serious blur when it comes to buying first hand.

I'm using wrist strap when I'm out to the streets walking around. Currently using leather strap from Andy's Leather Strap but still prefer the strap that comes with the GR. hope this gives you some idea.

Asahi Pentax GR Zhng!



I am able to pull through my old Crumpler strap into the small strap eyelet of the GR. Great!

I just got mine!! Hope can zhng to something vintage like this. Can tell me where to get that neck strap? Most of the straps are too big for the eyelet. Tks

Jtsky, mine's the crumpler straps, you can get it at all Crumpler stores. You will find that the eyelet may not accomodate the strap. Need some technique to string it through... I don't know how to explain in words ... basically you need to use a string to pull the strap through the eyelet.

Finally decided what I need for the Fn1, Fn2, Effect buttons, initially I follow or copy Sanfong settings which he shared on CS.

Was- Fn1-Snap focus ; Fn2-Snap distance ; Effect - Effect
Now- Fn1-35mm; Fn2-Effect; Effect-Multiple exposure
I prefer the Effect to be reached near as I often switch between B&W and retro.

MY1- High contrast B&W
MY2- Snap
MY3-nothing
