Ricoh GR Digital users fall in!

Anyone has experience stains, dust on the GRD's sensor? Cos every frame I take seems to have some huge dust specks in them and the position is consistent with every frame no matter what I do. Anyway, if anyone has send the GRD in for such cleaning, how much does it cost? Also, can anyone fill me in on the operating hours of the Ricoh Service Centre? Thanks

sensor cleaning should be free during warranty period
Thanks jfoo, its sitting at the service centre... got to find a day to go down n collect it.. the opening hours sucks really..

Just to compare notes,
1. Did you guys get GV-1 or GV-2 viewfinder? I ordered the GV-2 viewfinder coz it smaller.
2. I also ordered GC-4, the 2 piece snap on case.
3. I am considering the GW-2 (21mm conversion lens) and GH-2 (adapter), but its too ex. If I buy GW-2, tat means I must also buy GV-1 (viewfinder) in order to see the 21mm in viewfinder. The GV-2 cannot do 21mm. I rather save the money for GXR when it release later this month.

most incredible thing about GRDIII is that everybody ignores it. It is the ultimate stealth camera - its like magic I dunno why people dun see it. Maybe its the matt black finish and lack of markings. Maybe its the size. On the street I can really get up close and nobody bothers.
I am sure HCB would use GRDIII were he alive!

May I know where you order the GC-4 and price?
The GW-2 and GH-2 are now permanently on my cam without the GV-1.
The quality is very good and you should go for it. :thumbsup:

Very new to this cam and appreciate the reviews.
I bought the GW-2 out of curiosity and so far quite satisfied with the results.
A sample pics and not sure whether got distortion or not :embrass:

i wonder if this thread can be relived, anws, any idea if its still possible to get a first hand grd now? any shopps still sell it? i saw it at best denki selling at 1400!!!, CRAZY!
