anyway, what do the GRD users here think abt these camera so far, and staff like the photo quality and all??

Near to perfection for a compact. The 21mm WA attachment made it even sweeter! Macro function is fantastic.

This camera replaced my Nikon 105 Micro effectively...

Can anyone tell me the price of the GR digital now? And where is the best place to get it?

Thanks

From what I know a couple of us gotten ours from MS Color in AMK at slightly under $1000. TK Photo also offer a very reasonable price. Do check with them, the price might have been revised. You have just missed one great deal during the last IT show at a good price with tons of "useful" freebies such as the filter/hood adaptor and the wide angle lens. The free VF given in the show is now also very useful as the new firmware allow the disabling of preview on LCD for discreet shooting in the dark.

oh yea...the viewfinder is excellent man! very bright and easy to see in very dim light.

unfortunately nt suitable to use it for macro framing

Parallax error. Not just macro but also for close distance objects within a few meters. I did not get mine free due to being early adopters and I am reluctant to spend that kinda money.

I'm really interested in the camera. Where exactly is MS Color? And TK photo? I usually go to cathay at pennisula to look at cameras so I don't know these places well. Many many thanks.

Can. Get bigger ones and modify :bsmilie: Nah, just jokin. Just get a 37-46 step-up ring. Problem solved :)

I have a step up ring to 52mm which allow me to mount my Cokin filter holder so that I can use my gradual grey. The ring cost about $10.

Can i suggest more GR users post their nice photos here:)
