I think we can make this into a 'GRD Rocks' thread :D :D

Must let the rest know how good this camera is

Post more photos from the GRD!

This camera doesn't do optical zoom is it?

anyway, what do the GRD users here think abt these camera so far, and staff like the photo quality and all??

i only noe the macro is amazing! paper thin depth of field when at f2.4 and at very close distances. love the 21mm wide angle adaptor (interestingly when 21mm lens mounted, exif info will change accordinly also)

like the 3min long shutter options. certain photos shot in iso400 seems nt bad (noise quite under control)

i'm nt quite sure abt the quality yet as compared to my Lumix LC1. seems that LC1 still delivers pin sharp images.

Its a really well thought out compact. The command dials (and one acted like a thumb-wheel which you could depress on) made the handling of the camera flexible.

Noise wise, its just so-so but owing the fact that the CCD is rather small to cramp (smaller than Fuji's F11) 8 mp, its no where near DSLR standard. Lack of an optical zoom does not affect me that much since I shoot most of my subject on the wide end.

Its expensive. That's the only gripe for me.
